Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is a self-styled godman who has been making headlines in recent months for his alleged miraculous powers. However, a closer look at his claims reveals that they are nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
Dhirendra Shastri’s most famous claim is that he can read minds. He has performed this “miracle” on numerous occasions, but there is no evidence to suggest that he is anything more than a good guesser. In fact, there have been several instances where his predictions have been proven to be wrong.

For example, in January 2023, Dhirendra Shastri claimed that he could predict the outcome of the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. However, the results of the elections showed that Shastri’s predictions were completely wrong.
In another instance, Shastri claimed that he could predict the winning lottery numbers. However, when he was challenged to do so, he refused. This suggests that Shastri knows that his “mind-reading” abilities are not real.
Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra was in Nagpur for a Ram Katha.
Shyam Manav, who was the National Convenor of the Maharashtra-based organization fighting superstition, found out that Shastri was there for Ram Katha. He welcomed it without any hesitation; however, he discovered that the ‘Baba’ was holding a ‘Divya Darbar’ in Nagpur on 7th and 8th of January, and allegedly performing miracles. He had his team go through about 40-50 of his videos, and noticed various illegalities in it. With proof, he informed the police about this and asked them to take action. But the police took no action and gave a clean chit to the Baba.

Apart from informing the police, Shyam Manav also challenged Dhirendra to two tasks.
First, he had to identify 10 people in a room and guess their names, father’s names, ages, and phone numbers.
The second challenge was to accurately predict 10 items kept in the room next door.
Shyam Manav promised to reward Dhirendra with ₹3 million if he could answer both challenges with 90% accuracy. He also agreed to bow down to his feet, apologize to him and disband his organization if Dhirendra won. But, Dhirendra left Nagpur on 11th January instead of 13th January, and so Shyam Manav called him a deserter as he could not accept the challenge and fled from there.

In addition to his alleged miraculous powers, Dhirendra Shastri has also been accused of making false claims about his background. He has claimed to be a descendant of the Shankaracharyas, but there is no evidence to support this claim. He has also claimed to have been educated at the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, but there is no record of him ever attending the university.
The evidence suggests that Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Shastri is nothing more than a fraud. His claims of miraculous powers are nothing more than smoke and mirrors, and his background is highly suspect. It is important to be wary of self-styled godmen who make outlandish claims. They are often nothing more than con artists who are preying on the gullible.
In Conclusion
It is important to be wary of self-styled godmen like Shastri. They are often skilled manipulators who use their charisma to exploit people’s faith. If you are considering following a Baba or spiritual teacher, it is important to do your research and make sure that they are legitimate.
