Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has released the first teaser video of its upcoming motorcycle, the Honda SP 160. The teaser video shows a rear top view of the motorcycle, revealing some of its key design elements.

The Honda SP 160 is expected to be based on the Unicorn 160, but with some cosmetic changes to give it a sportier look. The teaser video shows that the Honda SP 160 will have a single-piece tubular grab rail, halogen turn indicators with the Honda name written in the middle, and an angular tail lamp signature.

The Honda SP 160 is also expected to get an all-digital instrument console and a slightly wider handlebar. The motorcycle is likely to be powered by the same 162.7cc, single-cylinder engine that powers the Unicorn 160. This engine produces 14.5 PS of power and 13.6 Nm of torque.

The SP 160 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.10-1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ, and Suzuki Gixxer 155.
The SP 160 will be launched in India on August 2, 2023.
